Our background
The ORONA group background is the combination of the background of each and every company (small, medium and large) which has joined this vertical transportation systems research, production, installation and maintenance project over all these years to make up what is now known as the ORONA Group. Its personality, know how, and implication have been and continue to be essential so that together we have been able to create and consolidate the current ORONA Sociocorporative project.
Expansion years
1975ORONA began producing products under their own brand name.
In the 70s, the companies Ascensores Ga-Lo in Cataluña, Ulahi in Guipúzcoa, and Diher in León, were set up. All of these companies installed and maintained vertical transport systems.
An expansion process began at the beginning of the 70s with the opening of new work centres in various regions around Spain.
By the middle of this decade, exports to Europe and countries on the American continent began.
Sabiem's licence to manufacture lifts expired and they began to produce under their own brand name.
In 1978, boilerworks was abandoned, with the new activity of Spanial Structures being taken on.
