Our background
The ORONA group background is the combination of the background of each and every company (small, medium and large) which has joined this vertical transportation systems research, production, installation and maintenance project over all these years to make up what is now known as the ORONA Group. Its personality, know how, and implication have been and continue to be essential so that together we have been able to create and consolidate the current ORONA Sociocorporative project.

2009 New ORONA Group brand
The onset of the new century is marked by committed backing for Technology Innovation. Orornaeic (Orona Elevator Innovation Centre) is set up. Orona received the Ecodesign certificate in 2008, being the first company in the world vertical transport sector to receive this certificate.
The first decade of the XXI century was marked by a significan increase in production capacity and an exponentional increase in the workforce and sales figures. The vertical transport systems business was dealt with as a whole.
Orona and Electra Vitoria set up the Vertical Transport Systems and Urban Mobility Department of Corporación Mondragón.

Orona is joined by: Ascensores Girona, Ascensores Ga-Lo, Ascensores J.Sánchez, Bayfer, Diher, Cosecan, AS Burgas, Elevadores Burgos,Ascensores Sagastizabal, Elevabrantes, QLP Group, ACE Evators,Independent Lifts (the last 3 companies having headquarters in the United Kingdom) to make up a company Group prepared to vindicate its size and to revitalise its positioning and values: Commitment, Reliability and Agility, by means of a strong single framework for all the companies making up the new ORONA.
